Is the food really cooked fresh at my home?
Yes, always. This is the single most important thing about Tummify — our chef arrives at your home with raw, pre-measured, premium ingredients and cooks everything fresh in your kitchen during the party. Nothing is pre-cooked, boxed, or reheated. You will see and smell it being made.
Is the Tummify team verified? I'm letting strangers into my home.
Absolutely. Mandatory police verification is a non-negotiable condition for every Tummify team member — chef, serving staff, and activity facilitator. All team members are uniformed, briefed, and supervised. Your family's safety is the first thing we designed the business around.
Do you handle allergens and dietary restrictions?
Yes. During your pre-party consultation call (48 hours before the event), we ask for a complete allergen and dietary brief for all children attending. Our chef follows this strictly. We also offer Jain, vegan, and gluten-free menus as add-ons. Allergen labels are printed on RADIANCE package buffet spreads.
What if my kitchen is too small?
We've cooked in studio apartment kitchens and in open-plan villa spaces. Our team brings compact, portable induction equipment and is trained to maximize any kitchen layout. During the pre-party consultation, we assess this and adjust our setup accordingly. A small kitchen has never stopped a Tummify party.
How many team members come to my home?
This depends on your package:
SPARK: 1 Chef + 2 Serving Staff + 1 Cleanup (4 people)
GLOW: Head Chef + Assistant + 3 Servers + 1 Activity Facilitator + 1 Cleanup Lead (7 people)
RADIANCE: 2 Chefs + 4 Servers + 2 Activity Facilitators + Event Lead + 2 Cleanup (11 people)

What age group are the activities designed for?
Our Activity Facilitators are trained in age-appropriate party programming for children aged 2–12. Toddler (2–4), preschool (4–6), early school (6–9), and tween (9–12) groups each receive different activity formats. When you book, tell us the age mix of your guests — and we customise accordingly.
Do I need to arrange any equipment or utensils?
No. Our team arrives with all cooking equipment, serving ware, chafing dishes, buffet trays, gloves, packaging, and activity kits. You provide only: a functioning gas stove or induction surface, basic kitchen access, and parking for our vehicle.
Can I customise the menu beyond your standard packages?
Yes. All packages come with a base menu, and every menu can be personalised during the pre-party call at no extra charge (within reasonable scope). Themed menu customisation (superhero, unicorn, dinosaur, etc.) is available as a paid add-on starting at ₹2,000. We accommodate most requests — just ask.
What happens if it rains or there's an emergency and I need to cancel?
Our cancellation policy:
7+ days before event: Full refund minus 5% processing fee
3–7 days before: 50% refund
Under 72 hours: Deposit is non-refundable; a credit note is issued for rebooking
Tummify-initiated cancellation (rare): Full refund + 10% discount on rescheduled event

Do you serve areas outside Gurugram?

How do I pay? Is it safe?
Booking requires a 30% deposit via Razorpay (cards, UPI, net banking — all accepted). The remaining 70% is collected on the day of the event. All transactions are secure, GST-compliant invoices are issued automatically.
Can you also handle decorations and a DJ?
Tummify currently focuses on food, service, activities, and cleanup. We do not provide décor or entertainment (DJ/magician) — this keeps our service focused and our quality uncompromising. However, we're happy to recommend trusted partners in Gurugram for decoration and entertainment.
